Obama and Health Care
Despite a brief interlude by Professor Gates and the Massachusetts Cambridge police there has been practically only one topic that has monopolized the headlines for the past few months, that of health care reform. Some famous political conservative pundits/commentators have gone so far to say that President Obama and his administration do not like the Constitution because it lists the things that government cannot do to or for you. That negativity, the commentators say, is what they think they are trying to change by enforcing changes on us, through the government mandated health care reform bill. That will then allow them to control what the government does to and for us. A couple of articles that I would like you to read and think about this week have been posted below. Please read and analyze them before you continue to read my comments. Then feel free to add your comments to the mix.
First article from CNN Money:
“5 freedoms you’d lose in health care reform”
Second article from the NY Times:
“Why we must ration health care”
